Choose the sharing destination before ordering a custom birthday dance video. A private phone message, a vertical social post and a large party screen can need different framing and file arrangements, so ask what the seller can deliver.
For a private WhatsApp greeting
Keep the original delivered file before forwarding a copy. Play it once on your phone and check that the name and greeting remain readable. Send a short personal message with it so the recipient knows who arranged the surprise. If the file is difficult to send, ask the seller for help with the agreed delivery format.
For a Reel or another public post
Ask about vertical framing before recording if a specific format is important. Do not assume that cropping a horizontal file will preserve every performer or the sign. Confirm permission to post the recipient’s photo and review the rights associated with music and performance. A purchased greeting is not a guarantee of platform approval, reach or monetization.
For a party screen
Test the file on the actual device and check both image and sound. If the venue has unreliable internet, arrange an accessible local copy through the agreed delivery method. Check where the sign appears on the screen, and avoid placing important birthday text where it will be cut off.
Keep a useful master copy
Store the original video separately from edited or forwarded versions. If you want subtitles, a different crop or an extra closing message, ask whether those changes are available and what they cost. Send the intended use with the initial brief so the seller can confirm the practical options before production.
