For a personalized birthday sign video, keep board text short: a name, a clear birthday wish and an optional sender line. Readable wording usually works better than a paragraph.
Use three lines of board text
Try: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY / ALEX / LOVE FROM SAM.” Another option is “HAPPY 30TH, MAYA / KEEP SHINING / FROM YOUR FRIENDS.” Treat these as wording examples rather than promises about the exact board layout; ask which layout is available.
Separate board text from spoken words
A board may need a shorter message than the spoken greeting. Label the two clearly when ordering: “Board: Happy Birthday Alex” and “Spoken: Wishing you a wonderful year, from Sam.” This prevents an instruction from being mistaken for words to appear on screen.
Check spelling before recording
Use the recipient’s preferred spelling, including spaces or accents. If a name is unfamiliar, send a pronunciation note separately. Avoid adding a full address or other details that have no role in the greeting.
